INplace is an exciting development within The Hyde Group. Hyde remains committed to its core mission to help those in greatest need but is also seeking to generate a range of solutions to meet the ever increasing demand for reasonably priced and well managed housing across London and the South East.
In response to these needs Hyde has created a new division of the group, known as INplace, to undertake the promotion and targeting of the following activities:
INplace will build on our existing shared ownership programme across London and the South East, developing both grant funded and non-grant funded schemes.
INplace will seek to acquire stand alone sites or those adjacent to our affordable housing developments, or refurbishment schemes to develop homes to be sold outright. This will present nomination opportunities for the local authority.
INplace will develop schemes for rent that do not rely on grant, where, when costs permit, we will let at less than market rent. Again, the option of nominations for keyworker use may assist local authorities.
INplace will work closely with employers including NHS trusts, LA, education and health to develop specific schemes for keyworkers including rented and sale of cluster and self contained homes.
Hyde has appointed Adrian Grover as Executive Director of INplace to lead and co-ordinate this new team. Adrian has been with Hyde for over seven years and has extensive experience in the private and public property sector.
Adrian will work with our regional development teams in London and the South East. These teams will continue to undertake development on a regional basis, so that our Development Managers will retain a generic role covering all aspects of development in their geographic area.
